Snow Yunxue Fu (b. 1987) is an artist who lives and works in Chicago. Her work approaches the subject of the Sublime using topographical computer rendered animation along with its relationship installed in space. Through the 3D simulation technology as a form of mathematical research, Fu explores the infinite and the eternal. She exams and interpret the world around us through her self-created virtual reality, where she draws a parallel to the realm of multi-dimensionality and the spiritual.

Fu has exhibited her work in solo and group exhibition, art festivals, and screenings both nationally and internationally including Chicago Filmmakers, Kunsthalle Detroit Museum of Contemporary Art, MoMA PopRally: Abstract Currents Online Screening,
TEMP Art Space in New York, Currents: Santa Fe New Media Festival, Gene Siskel Film Center in Chicago, Sullivan Gallery in Chicago, Autumn Space Benefit Auction in Chicago, St. Charles Art Foundry in Missouri, Vincent Wapler Video Auction in France, West Village Art Gallery in Chengdu China, and 9:16 Film Festival in Australia.

Fu has also curated group exhibits and screenings such as vERSUS REALITY, a female artists Experimental 3D Animation Installation group show in SUGS Gallery in Chicago, Experimental 3D Screening in Autumn Space Gallery in Chicago, and Young Talent:
Chinese Guiyang Stars Children’s Art School Student Show in Trott Family Gallery at the Art Institute of Chicago. Through Eye and Ear Clinic, a grad student curating group supported by the Film, Video, New Media, and Animation at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago which she is leading to organize visiting artist talks and studio visits to the SAIC grads, Fu, along with Tie Jojima and Nhung Walsh is curating a video installation group show RECONSTellation in MANA Contemporary Chicago this April.

Fu is currently finishing her M.F.A. degree at the Film, Video, New Media, and Animation at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She also obtains a B.F.A. degree in Painting from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Southeast Missouri State University, and a B.A. in Fine Art from Sichuan Normal University in China.
