This project was the solution to a brief provided to me during my Package Designing class at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. We were to create 3-Dimentional graphics on a set of physical cubes such that when put together, would create a sensible pattern(s).
While keeping in mind the above brief, I took this project one step further by deciding to turn it into a quirky game that children could enjoy.
The game has been packaged in an organic box made out of rope so as to resemble a nest. It comes with 9 cubes as well as 6 reference cards. The user can either create the birds provided on the reference cards or mix and match and create their own bird species. The main aim of this game is to instill creativity within the user and the use of attractive geometric shapes and vibrant colors works towards that goal.
