"Read Me" Series

  • INTRO

Books often take a rectangular shape made up of sheets of paper bound by covers. Inside, they are most often filled with words. Words are a unit of language, and when written down like in a book, they are a visual representation of sounds spoken by mouth that mean something. Language, which is communal and different between regions, is used for communication between one or more people. This exchange can be between two people orally in a single language, possibly two, but it can also be exchanged nonverbally with hands, and even through text. The single uniting factor in verbal, physical, and textual communication is words. It all consists of words, whether in English or any other language.
  • The Read Me Series emerged as an exploration in understanding the relationship between text and books.
